War against terrorism: Restoration of peace a priority, says Nisar
Interior minister says international community did not duly recognise unprecedented sacrifices rendered by Pakistan
ISLAMABAD:
Minister for Interior Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan has said that restoration of complete peace in all parts of the country is top most priority of the government. He was talking to Special Envoy of UK Prime Minister on Terrorism Clovis Meath-Baker, who called on him here. British High Commissioner to Pakistan Philip Barton was also present in the meeting. The interior minister said that Pakistan has rendered unprecedented sacrifices in the war against terrorism but these were not duly recognised by the international community. Clovis Meath-Baker on the occasion assured complete support of his country to Pakistan in its efforts to tackle the menace of terrorism.
