Empowerment: Edwardes College hosts workshop
PEAD, British Council Pakistan organise a capacity building workshop titled 'Active Citizenship'

NGO Peace Education and Development (PEAD) and British Council Pakistan organised a capacity building workshop titled Active Citizenship at Edwardes College on Tuesday. The purpose of the programme was to enrich learning capabilities and instil leadership, communication and advocacy skills amongst the youth, enabling them to actively participate in the social and economic development of the country. Addressing the participants, PEAD programme manager Tariq Hayat said ‘Active Citizenship’ is a national network of expert facilitators, striving to empower the younger generation.
