Tragic: Victim of Wagah blast passes away

One of the victims of the suicide attack near Wagah Border on November 2, succumbed to his injuries at the Lahore General Hospital on Monday. The death toll for the incident is now 62. Muhammad Abbas, a resident of Sadi Street, Rawalpindi, was being treated at hospital for 15 days. His family said he passed away because of insufficient medical facilities at the hospital. They held a protest demonstration in front of the Lahore General Hospital and tried to block Ferozepur Road for traffic. They demanded that the government increase the amount of financial compensation announced for the family. Some city government officials assured the family that they would address their concerns.
