KARACHI:
An Anti-Terrorism Court-I (ATC-I) on Monday remanded suspect Yasir Talal to police custody till November 30 in an extortion case. The police produced the accused in court under tight security and the investigating officer requested the court to allow the physical custody of Talal, as they wanted to trace his connections and accomplices. The court accepted the request and remanded Talal to their custody for 14 days. According to the prosecution, Talal and his accomplices had demanded Rs50,000 from Arshad Mehmood, threatening to kill him unless he paid them.
