Public procession: Delegates from 25 states to attend JI meeting

Delegates from 25 countries will participate in the Jamaat-i-Islami (JI) public meeting at Minar-i-Pakistan from November 21 to 23, JI secretary general Liaquat Baloch said on Saturday.
The JI said the people of Lahore would welcome the rally participants from across the world. He said the JI had introduced a culture of decency, honesty, dedication and courage.

Delegates from 25 countries will participate in the Jamaat-i-Islami (JI) public meeting at Minar-i-Pakistan from November 21 to 23, JI secretary general Liaquat Baloch said on Saturday.
“The ijtema will be a huge gathering that will help rid the nation of despair, terrorism and extremism,” Baloch told a press conference at Minto Park.
He said it would create an awakening among people and unite them.
“It will help reassure that Pakistan can free itself from foreign pressures and become a developed country.”
He said preparations for the public meeting were underway. JI members and supporters – the youth, men, women, students and labourers – were all enthusiastic, he said.
