Signature Art Prize: Pakistani artist shines in Singapore

The work of a Pakistani artist is showcased at the Asia Pacific Breweries (APB) Foundation Signature Art Prize 2014 Finalists Exhibition that opened to the public on November 14.



Organised by the Singapore Art Museum with the support of APB the Signature Art Prize is awarded to artworks from the Asia Pacific region.


On top of vying for a $60,000 Grand Prize and two $15,000 Jurors’ Choice Awards, each of the 15 artworks are also in the run for a People’s Choice Award worth $10,000.


The finalists’ exhibition will present 15 works produced in 13 countries. Pakistan’s Farida Batool has presented her lenticular print “Kahani Eik Shehr Ki (Story of a City)” which was nominated by Ambereen Karamat. Batool’s work takes the viewer on a walk through urban Lahore.
