Caring for the sick: Fresh Nursing Facility opens its doors

The Fresh Nursing Facility (FNF) has started its operations in Lahore with the aim of “providing personalised care with dignity”.
Guests from the government sector, civil society attended ceremony on Saturday to mark the opening of the facility. Dr Rizwan Naseer from 1122, Dr Attia Inayatullah and Fatimah Memorial Hospital CEO Dr Ihsan also attended the event.
“There are terminally ill patients who do not need to be admitted to a hospital, but cannot be properly cared for at home. These patients require continual nursing care and have significant difficulties with activities of daily living. It is important to note that nursing care facilities are not just for the elderly, terminal illnesses can befall anyone at any age. The FNF provides nursing care and rehabilitation services to anyone who requires 24 hour care and assistance,” a statement issued by the FNF stated.
Facilities at the FNF include 24/7 nursing care, specialised patient mobility equipment and tablets and internet facility for each patient.
FNF has also introduced an Exclusive 24/7 Dialysis Lounge with personalised self care.
