Behind bars: Police arrest 12 suspects
Police raid hideout of dacoits near Asjad Police Station and Construction Technology Training Institute
ISLAMABAD:
Islamabad Police have arrested 12 suspects in possession of illicit drugs, weapons, and looted items in different incidents. Sabzi Mandi police raided a hideout of dacoits near the Police Station Asjad Mehmud along with police team raided at hideout of dacoits near Construction Technology Training Institute (CTTI) and arrested five persons. The police also recovered weapons. The suspects have been identified as Abid Khan, Nasir Khan, Usman, Salah Uddin and Kamil. Shalimar police arrested a suspected drug pusher, Riaz, with 1.030 kilogramme hashish. Golra police held Shahid Nawaz with a pistol. Sabzi Mandi police also nabbed a suspected thief, named Jehangir, and recovered stolen items worth Rs70,000 from him. Shahzad Town police confiscated a pistol from Kher Khan. Koral police arrested Haider Ali Shah and recovered stolen bikes from him while Loi Bher police recovered ten bottles of liquor from Ibrar. The police have registered cases against all the suspects.
