Implementing arrest warrants is the duty of police: Pervaiz Rashid
Information minister hopes the PTI chief would appear before the court given how he preached about the rule of law

Minister for Information, Broadcasting and National Heritage (IB&NH) Senator Pervaiz Rashid said on Friday that it was the job of the police to implement the arrest warrants issued by an anti-terror court for Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chairman Imran Khan.
Talking to the media here at Parliament House, he hoped that the PTI chief would appear before the court given how he preached about the rule of law.
Rashid added that Imran had instigated the people through his speeches to attack PTV and other government institutions.
The information minister said that if Imran realised his mistakes, he would be welcomed back into the parliament. He added that the PTI chief had forgotten that he tried to fool the masses using hollow slogans, CDs which were available and could be presented to him if he so desired.
