A couple died in a road accident on Friday on DI Khan-Peshawar Road. An official of Yarak police station told The Express Tribune that Shamshad Bibi and her husband Sadiqullah were travelling on a motorcycle when they collided with a bus. Both victims died on the spot. The brother of the deceased lodged an FIR against an unidentified passenger bus driver. Meanwhile, Gomal police station seized 2.65 kilogrammes of heroin from a passenger bus while checking vehicles on Derya Khan Bridge, said an official. Malik Hussain was allegedly carrying the drugs in his bag as he travelled from Landi Kotal in Khyber Agency to Multan.
