Committee formed: ‘Small traders to be kept in mind’

New leadership of FPCCI will take small traders into confidence on all policy decisions, says SM Munir

Trade Development Authority Pakistan (TDAP) Chief Executive SM Munir announced that new leadership of the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) will take small traders into confidence on all policy decisions in the future.   



Munir said that in the past small traders have been neglected and their problems were never taken care of. He added that a 10-member committee comprising leading trade leaders has been formed for the preparation of a comprehensive manifesto to be implemented by the FPCCI and all its affiliated chambers and trade bodies.


Munir, who is also patron-in-chief of the United Business Group, said that all decisions will be taken on merit for the promotion of trade and industry across the country and interests of the business community will be given priority.
