Family feud: Two booked for mistreating mother
Elderly woman complained to sessions judge.
ATTOCK:
The Attock police have registered a case against two men on the complaint of their elderly mother for allegedly forcing her out of their house.
The woman, a resident of Mohalla Dhoke Sherfa in Attock city, had filed a complaint with the district and sessions judge that her sons, identified as Irfan and Ihtesham, both married, mistreated and manhandled her in order to force her out of the family house.
She said she had been working as a maid ever since her husband’s death and sought the court’s intervention to help her.
The court ordered the police to register a case against the sons in order to provide legal protection to the woman.
Meanwhile, the civil court will hear the case against a cement factory for violating safety rules in carrying out controlled blasting near residential areas in Hassan Abdal.
Residents of the area had filed a case against the cement factory for using heavy explosives in the mountains near their homes.
