The health department has taken notice of the unavailability of a pathologist at the hospital
KARACHI:
The Sindh health department appointed a grade-20 senior pathologist, Dr Tariq Dureshani, for Civil Hospital, Sukkur. The health department has taken notice of the unavailability of a pathologist at the hospital. On the directives of Sindh health minister Jam Mehtab Hussain Dahar, health secretary Iqbal Hussain Durrani appointed Dureshani. Dahar has also directed the administration of Civil Hospital, Sukkur, to ensure the provision of medicines to patients. Each patient should be looked after and treated properly, he said. Speaking of Karachi, Dahar said that on the first day of the polio campaign in 86 union councils, 194,114 children were administered polio vaccine drops. He said that during the campaign, as many as 654,268 children will be administered polio vaccines in Karachi.
