Four vehicles mysteriously catch fire in Karachi

DSP Clifton Qamar Ahmad ruled out the possibility that the burning of cars was an act of terrorism.

KARACHI: Four vehicles mysteriously caught fire near Clifton area of Karachi on Thursday.

District superintendent police (DSP) Clifton Qamar Ahmad said that the burnt vehicles had been parked on the road by residents of the area.

In a preliminary investigation, Qamar Ahmed said the burning of cars did not seem to stem from an act of terrorism, although it may have been an accident.

The DSP said police is trying to determine the cause of fire.
