The police claim to have arrested a man allegedly involved in 50 target killing cases while another five suspected criminals were arrested by the Rangers in the city on Friday.
The Anti-Violent Crime Cell (AVCC) claimed to have arrested an man allegedly wanted in several murder cases. Shakeel alias Baba, was arrested by the AVCC during a raid conducted in Sakhi Hassan. According to AVCC officials, the accused is said to have killed more than 50 people. The officials did not disclose any party affiliations and added that they seized a hand grenade and a 9mm pistol from Baba's possession. A case was registered against him and further investigation is being carried out.
In an unrelated incident, five suspected criminals were apprehended during a targeted raid conducted by the Rangers in Lassi Goth.
