Quaid-e-Azam Trophy: ZTBL take control of match against Peshawar Panthers
Several matches were affected by rain in the Silver and Gold editions

An unbeaten 138 from Rameez Alam guided ZTBL to 346-7 as they ended day two of the fifth round of the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy Gold 186 runs ahead of Peshawar Panthers in the first innings.
In another match, Muhammad Ali Niazi scored 104 to take Multan Tigers to 403 against UBL as Adil Raza took five wickets. At the end of play, UBL were 92-0 after 23.2 overs.
At the National Stadium of Karachi, NBP were 242-6, despite Mir Hamza’s five-wicket haul for the Karachi Dolphins.
In a rain-hit match at the Diamond Ground, Islamabad Leopards resumed the day at 225-6, but only added four runs before Wapda claimed their remaining four wickets. In reply, Wapda were only able to play 14.1 overs and were 37-1 at the end of play.
No play was possible in the Rawalpindi Rams v SNGPL and Lahore Lions v PQA matches due to rain.
Silver edition
After conceding an 84-run first-innings lead, the Karachi Zebras are right back in it as they restricted Hyderabad Hawks to just 93 in their second innings, with Mansoor Ahmed claiming 7-16 to add to his 42 with the bat. The Zebras ended the day at 33-0 in their second innings and require 144 runs to win with two more days to go.
Bahawalpur Stags were 238-5 at stumps on day two against Sialkot Stallions to give themselves a lead of 53 runs.
Four of the matches were affected by rain.
In the match between KRL and PTV, KRL posted a total of 163-7 in 50 overs of play.
At the Marghazar Stadium, HBL were 244-6 at stumps against SBP.
Abbottabad Falcons added 73 runs for the loss of five wickets to take their total to 83-5 after 25 overs.
Meanwhile, no play was possible between Lahore Eagles and Quetta Bears at the LCCA Ground in Lahore due to rain.
