Police take 16 suspects into custody in Raiwind search operation
These people had arrived in Raiwind from different parts of Punjab for a 3-day religious gathering

Police on Thursday took into custody 16 people during a search operation in Raiwind and surrounding areas, Express News reported.
These people had arrived in Raiwind from different parts of Punjab for a three-day religious gathering starting from today.
Police also confiscated identity cards of several others during the raid.
Those taken into custody were shifted to an undisclosed location for questioning.
Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s family home is located in Raiwind and on July 17, security forces had killed two militants and overran their hideout in the area after a nearly 10-hour long operation.
