A young woman was allegedly killed by her brother in the Sawali Manjo village situated within the limits of the Saddar police in Jacobabad on Wednesday. Ali Manjo suspected that his sister, Shahnaz, was having an affair with someone. While she was running some household chores, the accused attacked her with a wooden club. She died on the spot and Manjo fled immediately. The police shifted the body to Civil Hospital, Jacobabad, and later handed it over to the family. Manjo has reportedly surrendered to the police. However, a case has yet to be registered. The deceased woman’s mother, Mai Sohni, said that Shahnaz just gotten engaged to a man of their community after her first husband died. He had come to see her when Manjo attacked them. However, the man managed to escape, added Sohni.
