Wagah Border blast death toll rises to 61
Police confirms arrest of two terrorists suspected to be involved in planning a number of attacks at Wagah Border

The death toll of Sunday's blast at Wagah Border has reached 61 with the deaths of two more people who had been severely injured in the suicide bomb attack, Express News reported on Tuesday.
A 40- year-old victim of the Wagah Border blast succumbed to his injuries Tuesday evening. Shahid Mahmood, was a resident of Hafizabad, and was undergoing treatment at the General Hospital.
Earlier in the day, a four-year-old child also succumbed to his injuries. He was admitted to the hospital with injuries after the explosion, while his family died on the spot.
On November 2, a suicide bomber struck outside the parade grounds at Wagah Border as attendees of the ritual flag-lowering ceremony began leaving on Sunday evening.
A Joint Investigation Team is probing into the blast as per the directions of Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif.
CCPO Lahore confirmed the arrest of two terrorists belonging to a banned outfit, suspected to be involved in planning a number of attacks at the Wagah Border.
The official further said that the possibility of the involvement of foreign powers cannot be ruled out.
Speaking about the investigation, he said it was still in its initial stages.
Despite the bloodbath, Sikh pilgrims from India also arrived in a special train to Lahore on Monday to celebrate the birth anniversary of Baba Guru Nanak.
