7th Muharram: Tight security for mourning procession
Largest procession was taken out from Imam Bargah Nasirul Aza on Mecanegi Road

The mourning processions of 7th Muharram passed through the designated routes in Quetta on Saturday amid strict security measures with the huge deployment of security forces, police and other law enforcing agencies. The largest procession was taken out from Imam Bargah Nasirul Aza on Mecanegi Road and marched through different roads before ending at the same place. “At least 5,000 police, Balochistan Constabulary (BC), Anti-Terrorism Force (ATF) and Balochistan Levies were deployed in Quetta to maintain law and order,” Home Secretary Akbar Durrani told The Express Tribune.
