Militants fire rockets on FWO camp
Contingent of security forces rush to site, throw a cordon
QUETTA:
Miscreants fired several rockets at the camp of Frontier Works Organization (FWO), the construction company of Pakistan Army, in Dasht area of Turbat on Saturday. There was no report of loss of life and property in the attack.
According to sources of Balochistan Levies, several rockets were fired from unidentified location which landed and exploded near the FWO camp.
“There were back-to-back explosions which were later followed by intense firing,” an official of Balochistan Levies said. However, another official said that the rockets were fired from mountains near the camp.
A contingent of security forces rushed to site and threw a cordon. The attackers escaped on retaliatory fire by the security forces.
FWO workers are engaged in the construction pf Turbat to Oshab highway and other roads in Makran division
It is pertinent to mention here that FWO is engaged in Turbat to Oshab highway and construction of other roads in Makran division.
