Three bodies recovered from Pishin
AC adds bodies have been shifted to Sandeman Hospital where their identities would be ascertained
QUETTA:
Three bullet-riddled bodies were found dumped in an unfrequented area of Pishin district, about 45 kilometres away from Quetta, on Friday.
According to the Balochistan Levies, some passersby spotted the bodies in the Mochi mountains near the Khanozai area of Pishin and subsequently reported to Levies officials. Assistant Commissioner (AC) Pishin Abdul Salam Achakzai, along with Levies personnel, rushed to the spot and recovered the bodies.
“The bodies are not very old. The victims were shot in the head before their bodies were dumped in the Khanozai area of Pishin,” Achakzai told The Express Tribune. He added that the bodies have been shifted to the Provincial Sandeman Hospital in Quetta where their identities would be ascertained.
“All the victims, in their mid-thirties, appear to be ethnic Baloch,” the commissioner said, adding that a case has been registered against on behalf of the Balochistan Levies.
