In-laws say she died of cardiac arrest
FAISALABAD:
Police said on Friday that a girl had been killed by her in-laws in Rajana area.
Muhammad Ishtiaq, an uncle of the deceased, said Tazeen had been married to Muhammad Anwar, a resident of Chak 350-GB, for five months.
He said her in-laws had informed them that she had died due to cardiac arrest.
Ishtiaq said they had complained to the police after noticing a mark on her neck following their arrival in Rajana.
Speaking to The Express Tribune, the Rajana station house officer (SHO) said a team had reached the spot after receiving the information.
He said the police had taken the body in custody. The SHO said the body had been sent to a mortuary for autopsy and action would be taken after the receipt of a medico-legal report.
