“Islamic State has entered Pakistan, which is even more dangerous and brutal than the Taliban or al Qaeda,” Altaf said.
During his telephonic conference from London, the MQM chief said his earlier statements were ignored, which were later proven to be accurate.
Altaf added that Taliban militants were joining IS while scores of IS flags have appeared across the country from Sadiqabad to Islamabad.
“If this is not controlled, people will even forget about Rawanda violence,” he said.
“I kept talking about growing Talibanisation in Karachi but the Pakistan People’s Party leaders ridiculed me,” he said. “Even the President and Prime Minister did not pay heed to my statements.”
He said everyone should support Pakistan Army in its fight against terrorists.
