Police arrest 2 suspects involved in 2007 Karsaz attack

Police said both suspects are a part of the banned Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan group

KARACHI: Sindh Police's Crime Investigation Department (CID) arrested two suspects allegedly involved in the attack on former premier Benazir Bhutto's convoy on October 18, 2007, Express News reported.

The arrests were made during an operation in Karachi’s Garden area on Friday.

According to SP CID Usman Bajwa, the arrested suspects, Jamshed and Abid, are a part of the banned Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP).

Over 180 people, mainly Pakistan Peoples Party workers and supporters were killed on October 18, 2007, when a suicide blast hit Bhutto's convoy near Karsaz.

Only 7 years taken to arrest those terrorists.WHY 7 years? Who should be responsible?
