Murray to face Federer in ATP Finals
Duo to clash in the round-robin stage.
LONDON:
World number five Andy Murray will face Roger Federer in the round-robin stage of the ATP World Tour Finals that starts on Sunday.
Also drawn in Group B are Robin Soderling and David Ferrer while group A will be contested by Rafael Nadal, Novak Djokovic, Tomas Berdych and Andy Roddick.
“It would be a big one psychologically to win, so I’ll give it my best shot,” Murray told the BBC. “The last couple of weeks weren’t as good as I’d have liked, although I actually won my first doubles competition.”
Last year Murray missed out on a semi-final spot by one game to Juan Martin del Potro. The Argentine was not in this year’s draw due to injury while a similar problem effectively prevented Nikolay Davydenko from defending his title.
