JI should decide if it’s with PTI or PML-N: Imran

He reiterated that PTI will not negotiate with PM Nawaz

ISLAMABAD:
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan has asked Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) not to 'waste' time in negotiations and come out clear if it is with PTI or Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), which ‘rigged’ the general elections of 2013.

Addressing JI chief Sirajul Haq, Imran said, "You have termed both the PTI and PML-N as two sides of the same coin, I want to ask you if you will stand with the truth as even PTI wants to see Pakistan as an Islamic welfare state."

Speaking to the sit-in participants at D-Chowk, Islamabad on Thursday, PTI chief said Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and former president Asif Zardari jointly rigged the elections, and all polls in the future would be fixed if those involved in electoral fraud were not held accountable.

“All parties including the JI are saying that polls were rigged but no one’s standing against it,” he said. “Nawaz Sharif has rendered favours to all those who were involved in rigging.”

The PTI chief said the premier should get prepared as his party on November 30 in the federal capital will hold the biggest sit-in in the country’s history.

He reiterated that the PTI will not negotiate with PM Nawaz, and all that they wanted was his resignation.
