
An additional district and sessions judge on Thursday awarded life imprisonment to three murder convicts.
Muhammad Ijaz, Sadaqat Hussain and Muhammad Asif had been arrested for shooting Kashif Sohail dead over a property dispute.
The judge also directed them to pay a compensation of Rs200,000 each to the family of the deceased. They will have to undergo an additional imprisonment of six months if they fail to pay the amount. A case had been registered against them under Section 302 (murder) of the PPC on the complaint of Sohail’s brother, Muhammad Tahir.
