Fire department officials say 20 fire tenders used in putting out fire

The fire that erupted in a garment factory in Karachi's FB Industrial area on Thursday was put out after four hours, while the cooling process is underway, Express News reported on Thursday.
At least 20 fire tenders were used in putting out the fire, while around 100 firefighters took part in the process, a fire brigade official said.
Army and Karachi Port Trust officials also assisted the fire department in this regard.
According to initial reports, the fire was caused by a short circuit, however, the exact reason is yet to be confirmed.
Those present inside the factory at the time of the fire were safely evacuated.
