Armed assaults: Three killed in Nowshera
A man and his son were gunned down

Three people were killed in separate incidents in various areas of Nowshera district on Tuesday. A man and his son were gunned down by their opponents in Akbarpura. They have been identified as Mushtaq and Ashfaq, respectively. According to a police report filed by Mushtaq’s brother, Taj Muhammad, the incident occurred when Mushtaq and his son were on their way home after praying at the nearby mosque. Their opponents, Salim and Yahya Khan, allegedly opened fire on them, killing them on the spot. According to Muhammad, his brother and nephew had a property dispute with the accused. In a separate incident in Ali Baig area of the district, a man identified as Ayub Jan was killed by unidentified assailants. A police report was filed with the Pabbi police by Jan’s father, Fazal Subhan.
