Sindh cabinet: Governor accepts MQM resignations
Three out of five lawmakers of the Sindh cabinet has submitted their resignations
KARACHI:
Governor of Sindh Ishratul Ebad Khan accepted the resignations of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) cabinet members on Tuesday, Express News reported.
In protest against opposition leader Khursid Shah's remarks pertaining to Mohajirs, three out of five lawmakers of the Sindh cabinet submitted their resignations.
Their resignations were accepted by the Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah on Sunday, October 26, and today by the Sindh governor.
The MQM had claimed that due to the PPP’s politics of hatred, Sindh has been divided into Sindh-one and Sindh-two.
