BEIJING: Finance Minister Ishaq Dar has said that China is a time-tested friend of Pakistan and a collective regional approach will benefit both countries. Talking to Chinese media in Beijing, he urged the Chinese government and the private sector to invest in Pakistan, as the government offers more incentives to investors than other countries. To a question, he said that the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank will provide financial support to develop countries in Asia for infrastructure development to promote regional connectivity. Dar said that Pakistan wants to peacefully resolve all disputes with India, including the Kashmir issue. About Afghanistan, he said we are looking forward to working with the new Afghan government, but any bilateral or regional arrangement must address Pakistan’s concerns and interests.
