Harassment: Bomb damages ringtone shop

Shop was completely damaged and two others partially damaged

PESHAWAR:
A bomb explosion damaged three shops including a mobile ringtones shop in Shabqadar bazaar on Sunday. Local police official Gul Sher Khan said that the bomb was planted outside Feroz Shah mobile ringtone shop, which was completely destroyed, while two other shops were partially damaged. Police cordoned off the area and called the bomb disposal unit (BDU) to collect evidence. According to BDU experts it was a homemade bomb packed with two kilogrammes of explosives. Sher Khan said that there was no loss of life because the market had shut down early in the evening. Shops selling music and movies have been targeted in the Shabqadar area in the recent past too. Shopkeepers have also received threats from militant to give up the business of selling music and movies.
