BARA: A Levies official was kidnapped by gunmen from Bara tehsil of Khyber Agency on Saturday. According to sources in the political administration, Levies official Dil Jan was seized by gunmen from the Shalobar area of Bara. It wasn’t immediately known who kidnapped Dil Jan and why. He was reportedly shifted to an undisclosed location. Sources said that Jan Afzal, the father of the kidnapped official, was also serving as Subedar in the Levies Force. Dil Jan’s two uncles were killed and his father was injured in a suicide blast earlier.
