Security concerns: Carrying weapons banned for 30 days
A Rangers spokesperson said that citizens were advised not to violate the laws by displaying weapons
KARACHI:
Pakistan Rangers Sindh DG Bilal Akbar has given orders to deal strictly with individuals carrying weapons in the city. The provincial home department has cancelled for a period of 30 days all the weapon-carrying permits that were issued during the relaxation of Section 144. A Rangers spokesperson said that citizens were advised not to violate the laws by displaying weapons. The carrying of licensed weapons will also be considered illegal from Muharram 1 to 12.
