The only way to deal with Indian threat is unity, former Lahore High Court (LHC) chief justice Mian Mehboob Ahmed said on Wednesday. He was addressing a seminar, titled Pakistan-India Relation: The Situation on LOC. University of the Punjab’s Pakistan Study Centre had arranged the seminar in collaboration with the Pakistan National Forum. “Pakistan was created on the basis of the two-nation theory. India has never accepted us as a sovereign state,” Ahmed said. Arts and Humanities Dean Musarrat Abid, Prof Hassan Askari Rizvi, former foreign secretary Shamshad Ahmed Khan, Lt Gen (r) Tauqir Zia, Lt Gen (r) Naseer Akhtar and participated in the seminar.
