Celebrating Diwali: CM gives Hindu employees a holiday

Sindh chief minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah on Tuesday announced that the provincial government would officially celebrate the Hindu festival of Diwali on October 23. In his statement, Shah said that the Hindu employees of the Sindh government would be given a holiday on the occasion. He added that the provincial finance department had been directed to pay advance salaries to Hindu employees.
