Old rivalry: Barber and a customer shot dead

The SHO said a team had been formed to find and arrest the suspects

FAISALABAD: A barber and one of his customers were shot near Khurarianwala police station on Monday. A police spokesman said 27-year-old Muhammad Imran, a resident of Bilal Town, was getting a haircut at Muhammad Irfan’s shop when some men came in and opened fire at them. He said Imran and Irfan were injured and taken to a hospital where they died. Their assailants managed to escape. A police contingent from Khurarianwala visited the scene and took the bodies into custody. Khurarianwala station house officer told newsmen that the bodies had been sent to a mortuary for post mortem examination. He said a case had been registered on the complaint of Imran’s brother Muhammad Sohail. He said Sohail had told police that their family had a property dispute with some men and had nominated them in the FIR. The SHO said a team had been formed to find and arrest the suspects.
