Search operation : Militants, suspects held in Hangu
According to Khanullah, four men said to be associated with TTP were arrested
HANGU:
Hangu police conducted a search operation on Sunday and arrested four alleged militants and six other suspects. Khanullah Khan, an official of the city police, said the search in the city and its outskirts was undertaken to maintain peace ahead of Muharram. According to Khanullah, four men identified as Ilyas Khan, Samiullah, Daud Khan and Munsif who are said to be associated with TTP were arrested. “The militants had been wanted by the police for attacking government installations in the district,” said Khanullah. He added six other men were arrested for carrying weapons and ammunition. Separate cases were filed against them and further investigation is under way.
