Punjab governor Chaudhry Sarwar has decided to play a more active role in Pakistani politics from the PML-N platform, sources told Daily Express.
“Sarwar will resign as Punjab governor and assume responsibilities in the centre in a few days,” a person privy to the development confided subject to anonymity. “With this the rumours of Sarwar leaving PML-N, or joining PTI, or PAT, have died,” the source said talking to the Daily Express.
The fact is that the PML-N leadership is ready to give more important responsibilities to Sarwar, the person said.
Sources said that Sarwar, a former British MP, who gave up his British nationality to serve Pakistan on the invitation of Sharif brothers, is likely to get the charge of the ministry of human resource and overseas Pakistanis.
Chaudhry Sarwar has been successful in getting the GSP Plus status, a trade benefit, from the EU for Pakistan.
Sources said that Sarwar has informed PM Nawaz Sharif of his decision and important developments are expected in the next week.

Good. Ch.Sarwar has ultimately resigned from nonfunctional, anti-poor and lootmar based Government.
This Government wants to keep all budget of Punjab in one hand. There is no share of poor in federal and Punjab budget.
They don't want to change police, judiciary, health, education in favour of poor.
Pmln has now zero credibility all they possess is just positions for their kashmiri background politicians to serve them.

I am sure Governor recent interviews against corrupt practices in Punjab was a no confidence in corrupt PMLN goverment. I am sure Shareefs are not happy with Governor statements but in current conditions where PM is asking for forgiveness from Aitizaz Ahsan despite his extremely non parliaminary language against PMLN slalwar Ch Nisar, Shareefs can't afford the publicity of letting Governor go because he raised his concern against bad governance. Therefore, PMLN will initially move him to center and then as soon as things get (IF) in their control they will see him off.
He kicked the govt below the belt when they are down, to get what he wanted. everyone is trying to do the same.

Chaudhry Sarwar should be special advisor to PM Nawaz and appointed Senator in March. He should take up the role of foreign investment / business interests development in Pakistan.
Governor sarwar taking over portfolio of Human Resource Development would be good for Pakistan. With his integrity & commitment , he can make significant contribution in this weakest area of Pakistan national life.
Chaudhry Sarwar has had a chequered career as an MP from Scotland. He was charge-sheeted for tax frauds and has notoriety for claiming highest amount from parliament for his expenses as MP. This guy is known as a Mt. Fixer ( like Mr 10%) rather than an MP in UK. He was forced by labour party not to contest elections, last time. Hence he has come to the mother of all corruption state - Pakistan. He is suitable for PML-N or PPP.
He is most likely to be choice of next caretaker PM!

Punjab governor Chaudhry Sarwar services can be best utilized as Foreign Minister.
Human resource and Overseas Ministry is most suitable for him. He was a former British MP and is credited for getting the GSP Plus
