The recently retired district health officer (DHO), Ghulam Mustafa Abbasi, was robbed of an unspecified sum of money in Saddar Town within the jurisdiction of the Cantt police station. Abbasi was on his way from a private bank after withdrawing cash. At least two persons have been gunned down in similar incidents during the past three days.
