Wanted: Suspected murderer arrested

Suspect allegedly accused of killing a woman a few months ago in the limits of Tarnol Police Station

ISLAMABAD: The police claimed on Thursday to have arrested a man, identified as Suleman Shah, who was allegedly accused of killing a woman a few months ago in the limits of Tarnol Police Station. Salman Khan had told the police that his mother was allegedly killed by Shah along with his two accomplices on June 26, 2014. SP (Saddar) Muhammad Ilyas constituted a special team headed by Tarnol SHO Inspector Mehboob Ahmed including Sub-Inspector Munir Hussain Jafferi and others to trace the alleged killer. The team nabbed the nominated accused from Akora Khattak, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa. Police have obtained physical remand of the accused and further investigation is under way in the case, said a police official.
