Azad Kashmir Council presents budget of Rs15.9bn

Rs2,310 million have been earmarked for development, a 30% increase has been projected for the revenues

ISLAMABAD:
Azad Jammu and Kashmir Council on Thursday presented a budget of Rs15.95 billion for the 2014-15 fiscal year, Radio Pakistan reported.

Minister for Kashmir Affairs Chaudhry Barjees Tahir presented the budget at a session of the AJK council in Islamabad on Thursday.


There is 77% increase in the budget as compared to 2013 after a deficit budget worth Rs14.483 billion was approved for 2013-14.

Of the budget, Rs2,310 million have been earmarked for development, a 30% increase has been projected for the revenues.
