MQM urges British authorities to provide adequate security to party chief
KARACHI:
MQM parliamentarians and members of the Rabita Committee have written a letter to British Prime David Cameron and other British authorities, urging them to provide adequate security to party chief Altaf Hussain. The MQM leaders informed the British government about the threats issued by the TTP to the party leadership, said a press statement. “MQM has opposed religious extremism and terrorism since the beginning. Altaf Hussain has raised his voice against extremists and terrorists on every platform and this is why he is getting the threats,” it said.
