Bilateral relations: Swiss ambassador calls on CM
Two discuss matters of mutual interest and technical education and skill development among the youth

“We should strive towards increasing exchange of trade delegations between Pakistan and Sweden,” Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif said on Wednesday. He was speaking to Ambassador of Sweden in Pakistan Tomas Rosander. They discussed matters of mutual interest; and technical education and skill development among the youth; development of the industrial sector; and bilateral relations. Sharif said Sweden and Pakistan enjoyed friendly relations. He stressed the need for promoting economic and trade relations between the countries. He said the youth were being imparted skills that had a high demand in the market. A programme is being implemented in this regard. He said it had yielded encouraging results. Rosander said that Sweden accorded great importance to its relations with Pakistan and assured Sweden’s cooperation in developing various sectors in the Punjab. Deputy Head of Mission of Sweden Carl Magnus Nilson was also present on the occasion.
