Ghulam Haider Jamali on Monday gave orders for exceptional security measures

Sindh IG Ghulam Haider Jamali on Monday gave orders for exceptional security measures for the urs of Abdullah Shah Ghazi. Jamali told the DIGs of West, East and South districts to ensure surveillance and snap-checks at police posts and the city’s entry and exit points. He also asked officers to step up intelligence collection efforts, patrolling and targeted operations to maintain law and order. Jamali further requested security measures to be put in place for mosques, imambargahs, shrines, consulates, hospitals and the airport. The urs of Abdullah Shah Ghazi will be held from October 16 to 18.
