The Lahore High Court (LHC) on Monday asked the federal government to submit written details of the cost of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif's recent trip to New York, Express News reported.
During the hearing of a petition against PM's foreign trip, the petitioner said the premier was hurting the country's treasury by taking family members as well as servants on his international trips.
The petitioner further said that PM Nawaz was also promoting his private business during his foreign trips.
The LHC, after listening to the petitioner's stance, asked the federal government to submit a reply by November 6.
PM Nawaz had visited New York to attend the annual session of UN General Assembly.
