Result out: Over 55 per cent fail HSSC-I exam

Of the total 56,685 registered candidates, 55,595 candidates appeared in the examination and 24,790 passed the exam

RAWALPINDI:


The Rawalpindi Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (RBISE) on Friday announced the result of Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC) Part-I.


Of the total 56,685 registered candidates, 55,595 candidates appeared in the examination and of them, 24,790 candidates passed the exam.


The success ratio of the result remained 44.59 per cent, said RBISE Chairman Dr Muhammad Zarif while announcing the result.


A total of 30,799 students failed the exam.


Students can get their results by sending a text on 800296.


They can also contact the office of controller examination on telephone numbers 051-5450917 and 5450918.


The result is also available on the board’s websites www.biserwp.edu.pk.
