Deadly dispute: Showroom owner killed, customer injured

A showroom owner was killed and a customer injured in an armed clash at Sanam Chowk in Shahzad Town.

A showroom owner was killed and a customer injured in an armed clash at Sanam Chowk in Shahzad Town.
According to the local police, the incident took place on the second day of Eidul Azha at the showroom of Raja Nadeem when Chaudhry Shafiq visited the site to apologise for attacking his showroom a few days ago.
Nadeem reportedly did not accept the apology after which an argument ensued. Later, both men opened fire at each other. As a result, Nadeem died on the spot while Shafiq escaped.
A customer present in the showroom was also injured in the firefight. A case was registered against Shafiq at the Shahzad Town Police Station on Raja Kamran’s complaint.
