
Zuckerberg is on a two-day visit to India, the second biggest market after the United States for Facebook, to address the first Internet.org summit on October 9 and October 10 in the Indian capital.
The CEO is set to reportedly discuss how Facebook and the Indian government can collaborate during the meeting.
Earlier, in July, during chief operating officer of Facebook Sheryl Sandberg’s visit to the country, Modi discussed the use of Facebook for improving governance and interaction between people and the government.
Zuckerberg is the third high profile visit to India by a CEO after Amazon’s Jeff Bezos and Micrsoft’s Satya Nadella.
The Internet.org summit will explore ways to deliver Internet services in languages other than English.
